About Jennifer

Life can be hard – Let’s Paint!

Making art used to just be about fun for me. Working through some topics and sharing, but mostly it was a fun way to spend the day.

But, in the last few years life has gotten harder. You probably know what I’m talking about?

And, it’s probably gotten harder for many people in my country and in the world recently.

Art can help us get through these tough times. It can also bring us together!

It is truly a gift and I hope you will recognize that in your life as well.

Journaling also became an important part of my life over the years and I thought I would start working that into my process to see where it would take me.

It has been incredibly helpful to move past rough periods, stress, make difficult decisions and to develop my art and business.

I think these can both be a positive part of your life as well. I would like to help you explore the benefits these can be in your day and in the way you spend your time.

I hope you can find inspiration in these pages, but also in yourself!

Bio

Jennifer developed a love of art in as a young girl . She got her first camera in 6th grade and it was an instant love.

From here she was a lucky girl to go to art school, earn many scholarships and work in photography and graphic design for many years.

At a certain point working in commercial art became a strain and she went out on her own as a designer and fine artist.

She worked a long time in this direction. Showing her work, selling, and painting commissions. In 2016 she took a break and needed to step away from the art world for a while.

Jennifer worked in marketing for many years and still has a number of clients that enjoy her approach to promoting their work online.

In 2023 Jennifer came back to the visual arts and also started to journal (and dabble with a ukulele her husband bought her).

And, her painting life continued.
